Memorial Day has passed and we are officially headed toward Summer…. and all that that brings…. Fairs…. Shows…. pleasure trail riding….just spending time with our 4 legged friends in warm weather! Try to set aside a day to come check out all the bargains at JH Tackroom.. we are here for you! Don’t forget Jefferson County Fair is coming up soon.. the beginning of July!

No Fooling! This is the first Day of April!!! 75 glorious degrees of sunshine and happiness!
I hope everyone with a horse is spending time with it, and everyone without knows someone with one to groom, smell, pet, ride, or just watch the peacefulness of a horse grazing today!

Happy First Year Anniversary to US! YEA!!
Hard to believe but we have been open 1 whole year this month! So we have done a bit of looking back and we are adjusting our open days and hours to better fit you! Being open on Wednesday evenings didn’t really work for a lot of you, so we are switching to Friday’s (by popular demand!) Starting March 19th we will be open Thursday and Fridays from 1 pm to 7pm and as always Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4 pm. We hope these hours make it more convenient for you to visit and shop our store. Your referrals and return business is what keeps us going… so Hope to see you soon! It’s finally warming up enough to ride again!

Right in the coldest part of winter… what is there to do?????? SHOP!!! Come on in and warm up your bones and see all the new items available for the upcoming year! Happy New Year!
We are all looking forward to a Happy, Healthy and prosperous New Year! We know this past year was a very hard year on a lot of “horse’ people! But we are looking forward to 2010 as the year to get back up on the horse! LOL! Remember we are a resale store… for good quality gently used horse tack; saddles, bridles,halters, bits, crops, blankets, pads, sheets, riding and show clothing , boots, and hats, both Western and English….. grooming needs, jewelery, decor and yes even a few dog items…. PLEASE stop by and check out allthe wonderful bargains at our store.

December…. one of my favorite months, because I love the Christmas Holiday, friends, family, food… the true meaning of life! Hope you are all staying warm and fed… both human and critter! We’ve had a pretty mild winter so far, and then we get slammed with a blizzard! Beautiful as it is, it sure makes a lot of extra hard work. But it does get you in the Holiday Spirit! Remember we have Gift Certificates, to ease the stress and for that “perfect fit”!
And then it’s the end of another year! Which always brings on mixed emotions! Hope for the future, yet regrets for what we haven’t gotten accomplished (yet!). But then it gives us that nice winter pause to re-group and set new goals for the upcoming Spring and new Horse season!
You all have our Best Wishes for a Happy, Healthy Year to come… and our Great THANKS , for helping two ‘horse nuts’ in their attempt to “live the dream”… LOL…

AHHHH October! Such a colorful and Great smelling Month! ( although it has been a bit cool!) But Refreshing! And we are busy planning our First Annual – End of Season Sale! Friday thru Sunday Oct 9-10 & 11th from 9 to 4 PM… we are putting a 10% off sale on everything in the tack store PLUS we have put up a tent and are having a good old fashioned rummage sale! The rummage is multi family with a variety of “stuff” from furniture to kitchen items… to tools… towels, lamps, clothing..etc…..

AHHHH September! My favorite month! I love the smells, the sunsets, the cooler temps! Gives me energy! And the best horse-month ( in my opinion)!
The fairs are winding down, and everyone is re-assessing their horses, equipment, tack, clothes, their riding patterns, their wardrobes,.. etc.. A great time of year to come see what’s new in the store.
We have recently gotten in a whole bunch of great new stuff!
We have added approximately 10 new consignors! They have some unbelieveable – brand new never worn and never been on a horse items, as well as , gently used!
You have to see the bargains to believe! So be sure and make time to come check us out!
